Remove Spam Calendar Events in iOS 15
Now tidy up the house and remove the leftovers from the iPhone, and let me show you the way. Sure, you'll have to spend a couple of minutes tidying up the Apple app, but it's well worth your time.
- Open the Calendar app.
- Press “The calendar“located at the bottom.
- Click on an event that has a lot of spam items.
- Click on “Delete calendar” is located at the bottom.
- Confirm the action by clicking on “Delete calendar” to remove it.
You deleted an event with a lot of spam reminders. Repeat the same to remove multiple events from the Calendar app.
Enable security features in browsers
Pop-up ads on many websites are designed to promote products and services. However, over the years, I came across a million pages that were spreading malware, adware, and various types of threats on the machine. I recommend that users block all kinds of pop-ups in mobile browsers. Safari is my favorite browser on iPhone, or I prefer Firefox on PC.
- Open Settings > Safari.
- Toggle to block popup ads and make sure the button is green.
- Be sure to enable all four security settings.
- Prevention of cross-site tracking.
- Hide IP address.
- Fraudulent site warning.
- Measuring ads while maintaining privacy.
Turn on all security features in your browser and prevent further problems in the future. Remember, don't disable any of the features in the list because they don't prevent you from visiting sites or blocking web pages. In case this is not enough to protect your device, you can switch to Firefox.
Enable privacy protection in the mail app
The Apple Mail app has security protocols to prevent phishing, but you need to make sure they're turned on in the settings.

- Toggle to enable “Mail activity protection“.

How to prevent iPhone Calendar Virus in the future?
I'll start with iOS updates because Apple has addressed this in the past and released security fixes from time to time.
- Back up your saved data to local storage or iCloud.
- Charge the battery up to 90%.
- Switch to a high-speed Wi-Fi network.
- Do not force shutdown or restart your iPhone/iPad if the progress bar is not moving.
I ask readers to create a local backup via iTunes if the Wi-Fi network has slower download/upload speeds and less bandwidth. Keep in mind that you must back up and restore it to your device later, which is an indication that you have an internet connection.
- Open Settings and choose General.
- Click on Software update > Download and install.
- Allow your iOS device to connect to Apple servers and get updated information.
- Let the iOS device download the package from the Apple servers.
