Apple secured the iOS operating system and enabled users to store credentials to log into websites and services. Of course, this saves a lot of time, where you don't need to input credentials every time you visit the website. How Finding Saved Passwords Works on iPhone and iPad

Apple's selling point is privacy and security, and they don't save anything you input into the browser or installed apps. No credentials are recorded by the Apple operating system and this is one of the strongest points of the eco-system. The credentials are present in the device when you manually save it on the phone, and it will not be saved automatically.

You've entered the website, username, and password in Settings, and it'll save it for as long as you want it. Don't assume that iOS saves login information because it doesn't and doesn't do this to protect users from privacy invasions. iOS doesn't let other apps record it unless you've built it for the platform.

View saved passwords

  • You should be able to see all the accounts in one place, and you can determine the account by the name of the website. Tap on an account name, such as YouTube, to continue.
  • Now, you have the YouTube account credentials on the screen which includes username, password, and site URL.

You can edit or copy the credentials, and this gives you the advantage of safely saving the credentials without any issues. No one can penetrate Touch ID and Face ID's security layer, and Apple is proud to introduce it to the world. However, you won't find it here unless you've saved it manually.

How to set saved passwords

Most consumers of Apple devices do not know how to use it and have no idea how to set it up. If you don't want to bother yourself and keep entering the same credentials over and over again, this is a great solution.

Turn on or Enable iCloud Keychain

Apple introduced iCloud Keychain for MacBook, iMac, iPad, iPod and iPhone consumers who own multiple machines manufactured by the Cupertino-based company.
